They come in different variants and names, e.g. as a Customer Journey Map, Journey Map(ping),&nbsp; Mental Model Diagram, Service Blueprint, or related, as a Job Map in Job-to-be-Done theory. Alignment diagrams are used heavily in <a href=\"https:\/\/codify.in\/de\/glossary\/design-thinking\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Generally speaking, design thinking is a set of procedures and problem-solving behaviors of (industrial) designers and the mindset they bring along with. In today&rsquo;s business context it often describes a team-based methodology to the creation of user-centric innovation concepts.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Design Thinking<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/codify.in\/de\/glossary\/service-design\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"The application of design thinking to the improvement or creation of services.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Service Design<\/a>.
