The most common are: Customer Pivot &mdash; finding a better customer (problem owner) worth serving; Problem Pivot &mdash; finding a better problem worth solving; Solution Pivot &mdash; changing the nature of the solution.<\/p>\n<p>Famous pivot examples are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alexanderjarvis.com\/before-they-were-famous-15-startup-pivot-to-fame-8-youtube\/\">YouTube<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/hbsp.harvard.edu\/product\/7152-HTM-ENG\">Slack<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/business.financialpost.com\/entrepreneur\/flickr-founder-finds-success-in-failure-twice-by-pivoting-quickly\">Flickr<\/a> to name but a few.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The strategic course correction of a startup without a major change to the founders\u2019 underlying vision.
